Salisbury Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. Names Two New Members to the Board of Directors
SALISBURY, MD – July 11, 2018 – Salisbury Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc., (SNHS) aims to cultivate sustainable neighborhoods through partnerships and lending that inspires self-reliance, growth and optimism. In naming new members to the Board of Directors, SNHS hopes to utilize these community members as assets to further the aforementioned mission.
Joining the SNHS Board of Directors are, Jennifer “Jenni” Price and Ryan Daniher. Price leads a career in the Office of the Registrar at the University Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) where she has been employed for the past 16 years. She is currently pursuing a degree in sociology at UMES and enjoys drawing, arts and crafts, coordinating community events for Young Women With Dignity, a group for middle and high school aged girls and spending quality time with her children and family. Lastly, Jenni is a proud homeowner in part because of participating in the SNHS Homebuyer Education Class, taking advantage of one of our grants and her house was made possible through the SNHS Acquisition and Rehabilitation program. Daniher joins us as a Development Associate with Green Street Housing and is a graduate from Salisbury University in spring of 2017 with a B.S. in Marketing from the Perdue School of Business. He also participated in the SNHS Homebuyers Education class and serves on the Sustainability Advisory Committee for Salisbury, MD.
Executive Director of SNHS, Cheryl Meadows says, “Our two newest board members embody the spirit of community and bring talent, experience and energy to the table. We are very fortunate to have them by our side as we continue to strengthen the local community through homeownership in the city of Salisbury.
Both, Price and Daniher have agreed to serve a two year term until 2020 and will join nineteen other members of the community who collectively make up the Salisbury Neighborhood Housing Services Board of Directors.
